Ayurveda – english

Ayurvedic massage is considered one of the best and most effective methods of preventing diseases. In India it is practiced not only to eliminate physical fatigue and daily stress but also to free the body from suffering and pain.

Ayurvedic massage is a key part of Ayurvedic therapy: just as a machine needs to be oiled, the body loves to have its largest organ, the skin, soothed, which is why oils are commonly used in Ayurvedic massage.

Other treatments:

Hot Stone Massage Therapy session  that promotes deeper muscle relaxation through the placement of smooth, water-heated stones at key points on the body.
The hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress, increases circulation and metabolism and promote deep relaxation.
Californian Massage

Very gentle massage that awakens the senses and encourage relaxation. Through a nice mix of either slow and vigorous movements, muscular tensions are relieved

Decontracting Massage

Type of massage that deeply works on the connective and muscular tissues; suitable for tensed muscles due to wrong posture, exessive exercise, stress, ecc. This decontracting massage is practiced at local levels (expecially on lower back, and neck)

Relaxing Massage

Specific to the person, based on the client’s request. The goal is to give a gentle touch and to relax the person

Barbara Canta

I began my professional career eleven years ago after my studies in Wellness school. In the last three years I have been studying Ayurvedic massage and Yoga in India: my new and enriched lifestyle aim to a deep connection between nature, body, mind and spirit. I would like to inspire to live in a spiritual, healthy and olistic lifestyle.

Through my portfolio of traditional and olistic massages I want to convey to people that Wellness goes beyond the idea of aesthetics: love ourselves means to stenghten the relationship between inside and outside.
